The library may make available museum passes available through local institutions of interest to the community. Only one institution’s pass may be borrowed by a cardholder at a time. Passes are on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved ahead of time. Patrons may contact the library to see if the pass is available, but it cannot be reserved. The number of passes available varies by institution.
Museum passes are free to borrow to any cardholder 18 and older with an active card in good standing.
Each institution has its own set of admission rules and requirements. The Library is required to follow those rules, or risk losing privileges with the museum. Details regarding the requirements for admission are provided with the passes.
If a pass is lost or damaged, the cardholder will be charged the cost of replacement or purchase of a new pass as determined by the pass’s institution.
Borrowers are responsible for returning passes in compliance with the pass’s due date. Passes brought back late may result in suspension of museum pass privileges.
