The Bradley Beach Library loans some educational kits that families can borrow to practice different skills, such as math and reading. These are free to borrow to any cardholder 18 and older with an active card in good standing. They can be checked out 7 to 14 days depending on the item. Patrons are able to borrow up to one kit at one time. Some items cannot be renewed; some can be renewed one time. Items must be returned inside with a staff member and not put in the book drop box. Patrons will be charged for lost items or lost components of the kits. To request a kit, ask a staff member.

Code-a-pillar inspires young students to develop critical thinking skills through a hands-on robotic caterpillar. Using straight, left and right segments, students arrange Code-a-Pillar’s segments and watch the caterpillar move accordingly! Set up an obstacle course and add targets.
