ATTENTION: We are very excited to announce the Bradley Beach Library is open to the public!   A limited number of patrons will be permitted in the building at a time.  Our curbside services will continue to be available.  As we adjust to our new process please be aware of the following:

•    The first hour will be reserved for patrons 60 and older, expectant mothers, and those with underlying health conditions

•    Vaccinated patrons do not need to wear masks on the main level of the library.  Masks are required on the lower level, for children between the ages of 2 and 12, and for unvaccinated patrons.
•    Social distancing is to be observed by patrons when interacting with staff or other patrons.
•    Library materials may be returned in the building or to either of the library's book drops at the entrances.
•    Gloves are no longer required for browsing but are available for patrons who would like to use them.
•    Procedures are in place to help keep staff and library patrons as safe as possible.  

We appreciate everyone's patience as we navigate these new processes and procedures

• 20th Anniversary of September 11 Visit the library during September to see our poster exhibition. You can also make a paper crane to add to the exhibit.

• Writing Contest / Concurso de escritura Check out the creative entries.

• Bookmark Contest for Youth Children of any age are invited to decorate a bookmark by December 1. The Bradley Beach Library staff will judge their favorites, and the top 4 winners will have their designs printed to pass out at the library. Form is available at the library or here. Se invita a los niños de cualquier edad a decorar un marcador de libros antes del 1 de diciembre. El personal de la biblioteca de Bradley Beach juzgará sus favoritos, y los 4 primeros ganadores tendrán sus diseños impresos para distribuirlos en la biblioteca. • Welcome Pail Donations - The Friends of the Bradley Beach Library are seeking promotional items to include in our “Welcome Pails”. New community members receive a welcome gift when they come into the library and sign up for a library card. The pails are filled with a variety of informative and fun promotional items which can help advertise local businesses. We are looking for the following types of items:

·         Take-out restaurant menus
·         Discount coupons
·         Advertising flyers
·         Promotional items (key chains, mugs, magnets, pens, etc.)
·         Information on town services
·         Volunteer opportunities
·         Business cards
We can help you advertise your business at little or no cost. Please bring promotional items to the Library desk and indicate that they are for “the Friends”.

2.  on the Boardwalk at Brinley Ave
3.  On the Boardwalk at McCabe Ave, facing the mini-golf course

We have The CoasterFree copies of the weekly newspaper are available in the vestibule of the Hammond Avenue entrance.
