ATTENTION: We are very excited to announce the Bradley Beach Library is open to the public!   A limited number of patrons will be permitted in the building at a time.  Our curbside services will continue to be available.  As we adjust to our new process please be aware of the following:

•    The first hour will be reserved for patrons 60 and older, expectant mothers, and those with underlying health conditions.
•    Computers are available for one, 1-hour session per day.  Copying and printing services are available. To take advantage of our remote printing service documents to be printed can be sent to bbpl-bbpl-bw@printspots.com (black and white prints) or bbpl-bbpl-color@printspots.com (color prints) and staff will print the documents at the library.
•    Masks are required as per state health guidelines, except in cases of a medical condition.
•    Social distancing is to be observed by patrons when interacting with staff or other patrons.
•    Library materials may be returned in the building or to either of the library's book drops at the entrances.
•    Gloves are no longer required for browsing but are available for patrons who would like to use them.
•    Newspapers will not be available at this time.
•    Procedures are in place to help keep staff and library patrons as safe as possible.

Photography Contest 2021: All ages are invited to participate in our photography contest. Theme is "Community." Deadline is May 31, 2021. Entries must be submitted via email to programs@bradleybeachlibrary.org. Complete entries include name, category of children 0-12 or adult, address, phone number, email, title of work, and an attached digital entry. Maximum of one (1) photograph entry per person. Images must be in JPEG format sized at 300 dpi. Files must be named as follows: Last Name_First Name_Title. The dates for the exhibition have been updated in the rules and will start June 14 at the library. See the complete rules for more details In partnership with Bradley Youth & Community Club and Bradley Beach Library.

• Welcome Pail Donations - The Friends of the Bradley Beach Library are seeking promotional items to include in our “Welcome Pails”. New community members receive a welcome gift when they come into the library and sign up for a library card. The pails are filled with a variety of informative and fun promotional items which can help advertise local businesses. We are looking for the following types of items:
·         Take-out restaurant menus
·         Discount coupons
·         Advertising flyers
·         Promotional items (key chains, mugs, magnets, pens, etc.)
·         Information on town services
·         Volunteer opportunities
·         Business cards
We can help you advertise your business at little or no cost. Please bring promotional items to the Library desk and indicate that they are for “the Friends”.

3.  On the Boardwalk at McCabe Ave, facing the mini-golf course

We have The CoasterFree copies of the weekly newspaper are available in the vestibule of the Hammond Avenue entrance. Newspapers in the library are still not available due to their high-contact nature. 

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING DONATED MATERIALS.   For the foreseeable future, the library is unable to accept donations of any physical materials (books, DVDs, etc.)  Please do not leave them at our book drops.  We will advertise for donations when we are able to accept them again.
