GROUNDS FOR SCULPTURE PASSES Each Library Pass provides free entry to GFS for up to four (4) people per day (this includes adults, children over 5 years, and seniors. Admission is free for children 5 and under). Library Pass holders are not required to make an advanced timed reservation to visit GFS. The Pass is valid for 10% off select purchases in the Museum Shop. (Please note, this Pass does not include discounts to GFS restaurants.) Library Pass holders are welcome to attend Member Preview Day and an exciting calendar of programs that are free with general admission to GFS. Please see GFS website for hours and days the grounds are open. The pass is available for 2 day check out. If the pass is late the fine is $50. If the pass is lost, the replacement cost is $500. 

JOIN A BOOK CLUB Check out our Events page for a listing of dates and times of our book clubs.  Our current groups include "Bradley Beach Bookworms" and the "And Another Thing..." Book Club. Check the calendar for dates and titles. Everyone is welcome! Call the library for the current titles being read by each group. 

CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH CLASSES: Every Tuesday from 6:30pm-8pm in our meeting room.

CRAFTING Mondays after school are crafting days- join us at 3:30 for seasonal crafts!!

GAMING Come and try out your skills on our PS4 and wii - Tuesdays after school and whenever the meeting room is available!

LEGO CLUB Build your Lego dreams -- and enjoy the company of other master builders -- every Wednesday at 3:30.

BOARD GAMES The library has a growing collection of popular board games. Bring your friends after school, choose a game and have some fun. Don't find the one you want? Make a suggestion and we'll try to get it for you.

OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS: Lower level of the library, Mondays at 10 am.

Thursday STORY TIME Join us, at 11 am on Thursdays for stories and crafts.

CHECK OUT OUR ART CART If you find it on the cart, its fair game! Stocked with plenty of paper and craft necessities along with some fun extras, the art cart is always out and always available when you’re feeling crafty. Stop in and see what you can create today!

GRAPHIC NOVEL PROJECT Learn about the Bradley Beach Elementary School's Graphic Novel project here! Middle school students have been learning how to write and illustrate their own stories and the results can be viewed on this blog.

CALLING ALL COLLECTORS: Do you have a collection you would like to share with the community? We are always looking for interesting collections to feature in our glass display case. Please call the library or stop by the Reference Desk if you would like to exhibit your treasures!

PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BRADLEY BEACH FOOD PANTRY BBPL has partnered with the Food Pantry at the Episcopal Church. Donations may be brought to the library during regular library hours. The Food Pantry is always in need of NONPERISHABLE foods in addition to: diapers, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.

WE'LL BRING THE LIBRARY TO YOU If you are unable to come into the library, we would be happy to bring books to you. Call us at 732-776-2995. 

WE LOVE BOOKS CART SALE Children's Books 2 for $1; DVDs $1 each, Hardcovers 3 for $5 or $2 each; Paperbacks 4 for $1. Come in and check it out!

TELL US WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE READING You can share your book reviews in three easy ways: 1. Leave your one-word book review on the forms on the front pages of our new books. 2. Post your review in the library catalog. To do this, set up an account with a password and search for the title you want to review. Look for "Review this Title" on the left hand side of the page. Click on "Review this Title" and let your creative juices flow! 

WE ACCEPT BOOK DONATIONS Please call the library to find out if we are currently accepting book donations. Only books in excellent condition. No VHS tapes, text books or encyclopedia sets,please. The library can give a paper acknowledging the donation of books but we cannot give a monetary value to them. Thank you for thinking of us.

TALKING BOOKS Do you -- or a friend -- have vision difficulties? You can get FREE books on tape through the NJ State Library's Talking Books program. We would be happy to help you get your account set up.  Call us at 732-776-2995. We also offer an extensive collection of books in Large Print.
